Thomasville warrants to you, the original purchaser, that for the stated warranty term, Thomasville will repair or replace any piece of furniture, which is defective in material or workmanship. The decision to repair or replace will be at the discretion of the manufacturer. To exercise your rights under this warranty, you must submit both the original sales receipt and delivery ticket when making a claim.
Thomasville warranty period begins at the time you receive the product in your home. If Thomasville determines that repair is impractical you will be furnished a substitute unit of the same or similar color, design, style and quality. You will not be charged for any repair services, delivery costs, or replacement furniture. If you notice a manufacturing defect, it is important for you to promptly notify the Thomasville Authorized Retailer from whom you purchased your furniture. If it is impossible or impractical to notify that Retailer, please submit your claim on-line, via e-mail, fax or in writing to:

Please complete and return the warranty registration card that is attached to your copy of the Thomasville Furniture Industries warranty as soon as possible.

Coverings
Fabric: Fabric coverings, other than Customer's Own Material (COM), are warranted for one year from the date you receive the product in your home against breakdown, seam slippage, pilling (unless pilling is a natural characteristic), shrinkage, nap loss and dye transfer.
Leather: We warrant that all Thomasville upholstered leather products have been upholstered in 100% leather. Leather coverings are warranted against tearing, splitting and seam slippage for one year from the date that you receive the product in your home. This warranty does not include coverage for natural characteristics such as wrinkling, natural marking from injuries to the animal, or variations in grain or color.
The coverings warranty does not cover fading or stains from spills such as acids, solvents, dyes, ink, paint, other corrosive chemicals or bodily fluids. We caution the consumer against improper cleaning, abuse, negligence, treating of covering with chemical products, and exposure of coverings to sunlight, bright light or extreme heat, since each can cause damage to the covering that is not protected by this warranty. THOMASVILLE VOIDS ITS CUSHION AND COVERING WARRANTY IF ANY NON AUTHORIZED AFTER-MARKET SOIL OR LEATHER PROTECTION OR NON-FABRIC MILL AND/OR LEATHER TANNERY RECOMMENDED CHEMICAL IS APPLIED.
All Other Parts of Thomasville's upholstered products are warranted for one year from the date the product is received in your home.
LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
While Thomasville believes its warranty is a good one, there are some limits to it. The following things will limit or exclude coverage under this warranty.
THOMASVILLE MAKES NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THESE AND ALL OTHER IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMED. By "implied warranties" Thomasville means warranties that the law sometimes implies to have been given by the seller even though they are not set out in writing. (Some states do not allow an exclusion or limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you).
This warranty protects you only when you purchase Thomasville furniture from an Authorized Thomasville Retailer.
This warranty applies only when you have purchased the Thomasville furniture for your own normal indoor household use (including use as a gift to another for household purposes) and not for resale or commercial use, which includes rental, business, and institutional or other non-residential use.
Your Thomasville furniture requires some routine maintenance. Please take care to treat your Thomasville furniture like the fine product it is. Proper care and use are essential to preserving your rights under this warranty. Thomasville will not repair or replace your furniture if improper maintenance or improper use causes damage. This warranty does not apply if your Thomasville product is damaged by the use of detergents, abrasives or other harsh cleaning agents.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents: including burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, indentations or pet damage.
Any product modification by dealer, consumer, or other parties not authorized by Thomasville will void this warranty.
This warranty does not cover floor samples or products designated "AS IS" at the time of purchase.
Because of craftsmanship or use of natural materials in Thomasville furniture, minor variations can occur from piece to piece. Therefore, this warranty does not cover such minor differences, or differences between floor samples or printed illustrations and your furniture.
THOMASVILLE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES. By this Thomasville means any loss, expense, or damage other than to the furniture itself that may result from a defect in the furniture. (Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.)
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary, from state to state. Except for such other rights, the remedies provided under this warranty state the limit of Thomasville's responsibilities.
